2530 OPEN FORUM

Report received from P.C.Marshall who was at the meeting and commented that he would do all that he could to back the Council in their speeding requests. Currently he is trying to get the counter, which also records speeds. He will continue to monitor the School area  and has explained that many requests have to come from the Parish Council. As soon as the report is available it will provided for our use. Flashing lights would be the most effective without arousing annoyance.

Chairman stated that we have been down this path before and were informed that we could have them at our expense, but we will pursue this again.

Resident asked about HGV who are travelling Bullacebush Lane There. followed a lengthy debate regarding various issues of the transportation problem in Blofield. Council will check previous Planning Application regarding weight and width restrictions regarding area that now looks like a mini Trading Estate. Resident requested permission to deliver circular to residents to acquire their views. An excellent idea and we will follow it up with P.C.Marshall’s report when received.

Abuse of Car Parking spots discussed also.
