Minutes of meeting of the Planning
Committee of Blofield Parish Council, held on Tuesday
9th January
, at Heathland 7.30pm.
7.30pm. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – There
will be 15minutes available for the public to submit questions relating to the
applications on the Agenda and other Planning Issues.
2895 PRESENT
Mrs. G. Butler, Mrs. J. Perry, Mr. M.Tetlow.and Mr. Murphy.
In the absence of Chairperson and
Vice-Chairperson, the councillors agreed that Mr.
Tetlow
should chair the meeting. Mr. Tetlow took the chair.

There were many Blofield
residents objecting to this application at the Council meeting and after
listening to their concerns, the Council decided to confirm their original objections
submitted at the pre-application consultation, which were:-
a. This is an area of natural beauty
which would be irretrievably
spoilt by this application being approved.
b. The Scout’s Hut and Children’s
Nursery at
c. In an area of councils trying to
clear up street furniture, overhead cables going underground and notices etc,
why should we have to accept these masts in many different places.
Some counties/councils have hidden these very discreetly with a little forward
thinking, we suggest that you should look further.
d. The Site is very close to
residential properties and government has acknowledged health concerns over
telecommunications installations
