There were many Blofield residents objecting to this application at the Council meeting and after listening to their concerns, the Council decided to confirm their original objections submitted at the pre-application consultation, which were:-

a. This is an area of natural beauty which would be irretrievably  spoilt by this application being approved.

b. The Scout’s Hut and Children’s Nursery at Fox Lane should have the regulations applied with regard to the word ‘nearby’.

c. In an area of councils trying to clear up street furniture, overhead cables going underground and notices etc, why should we have to accept these masts in many different places. Some counties/councils have hidden these very discreetly with a little forward thinking, we suggest that you should look further.

d. The Site is very close to residential properties and government has acknowledged health concerns over telecommunications installations
