5. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
Minutes for the meeting of 24th February 2009 were declared a true record (subject to small alterations) and were duly signed by the Chairman. Proposed Mrs. Butler and seconded Mrs. J. Perry.
6. MATTERS ARISING/CLERK’S REPORT.
Allotments – Follow up from Minute 3309, Reply received from Norfolk Property Services stating that our request was noted and would be considered at the review being held in 2012 when the Burlingham Estate comes up for Strategic Review.
Clerk asked Council whether they would be happy to change the minute system to one that would reflect the same numbering as the relating Agenda and containing page numbers.
Council unanimously agreed.
Council also unanimously agreed, at the Clerks request for An Internal Auditor, that the Chairman, Mr. M. Tetlow should be the Councils Internal Auditor. Mr. Tetlow accepted.
7. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Chairman reported that the first showing of a film at Blofield Courthouse had been very well attended. A very positive response , which produced a profit to help with finances. The next film was on May 1st.
8. COURTHOUSE CONSTITUTION.
This was discussed and accepted subject to small adjustments and corrected copy to be available for the Clerks signature at the next Parish Council meeting.

Agreed at a meeting held on March 3rd, subsequently duly completed and signed.
11. GREATER NORWICH DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP.
Planning chair, Mrs. J. Perry offered to complete this and return.
Agreed and proposed by Mr. D. Ward and seconded by Mrs. Dawson.
Mr. Murphy left the meeting at 8.35pm.
12. EXPENDITURE
Balances were noted.
Cheques to the value of £5204.71 were proposed for payment by Mr. Ward and seconded by Mrs. Dawson, to complete our financial year.
Cheques to the value of £1084.95 were also proposed for payment by Mr. Ward and seconded by Mrs. Dawson as due for the meeting of April 7th 2009.
13. WALKING THE FOOTPATHS.
Dates were confirmed as Blofield: 1st June – meeting at Kings Head Car Park 7pm – walk approximately 2 hrs.
Blofield Heath: June 2nd – meeting at Heathlands Car Park at 7pm.
Council were reminded that it was customary to request permission from landowners for the parts of the footpath which crossed over their land. Noted.

Bus Shelters – Reply from Mrs. Patterson, thanking the council for the increase in allowance for shelter cleaning.
Informed the council that she was now very happily living at West View Road and that during the moving operations the original account for payment of bus shelter cleaning in August 1970 was £7.10s per annum. Quite a change.

16. COUNCILLORS INPUT.
Mrs. Toothill thanked all who came to help and give support at the Open Day to discuss the Parish Plan. It was extremely well attended and the next meeting will be held on 16th April 2009.
Mrs. Wilson reported that Norfolk Search and Rescue Association would be active in the area on 24th April 2009.
Thanks were also given to Mr. Ward for the removal of the waste bin from the bus shelter on Woodbastwick Road and to the Chairman for producing our posters so quickly at such short notice.
