BLOFIELD PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the Annual Meeting of Blofield Parish Council
held at Heathlands Community Centre on
Tuesday 19th May 2009 at 7.10pm.

PRESENT:

Mr. M. Tetlow, Mrs. J. Perry, Mrs. G. Butler, Mrs. B. Dawson, Mrs. P. Wilson, Mrs. L. Copping , Dr. D. Pilch, Mrs. S.Toothill, Mr. D. Ward, Mr. J. Marney and Mr. B. Murphy.
Clerk Mrs. D.R.Wyatt also present

1. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

Vice Chairman, Mrs. G. Butler took the chair temporarily to ask for nominations for Chairman.

Mrs. Butler proposed and Mr. D.Ward seconded and it was agreed unanimously that Mr.Tetlow be re-elected as Chairman.

Mr. Tetlow took the Chair, signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office and thanked the Council for electing him.

2. ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

Mr. Tetlow proposed and Mrs. J. Perry seconded and it was agreed unanimously that Mrs. G. Butler be re-elected as Vice-Chairman for the coming year.

3. ACCEPTANCE OF APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.
There were no apologies received.

4. ELECTION OF VARIOUS COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES.

Mr. Tetlow was willing to continue carrying out this work

FINANCE

Chairman – D.Ward agreed to accept this position, unanimously agreed.

Council’s Internal Auditor – Mr. Tetlow agreed to continue, unanimously agreed.

Internal Auditor – It was agreed that Mrs. Pauline James be asked to continue. Unanimous.

5. AUDIT COMMISSION OF ANNUAL RETURN FOR YEAR ENDED 31ST MARCH 2009.

Not available as incomplete. Will be called at a further meeting.

6. Date of next meeting will be agreed at the December Parish Council meeting.
