Minutes of meeting of Blofield Parish Council, Planning Committee held on Tuesday  3rd November 2009 at Blofield Courthouse at 7.00pm.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – 15 minutes were available for the public to submit  questions relating to the applications on the Agenda and other Planning Issues.

1. PRESENT
Mrs. J. Perry (Chairperson) Mrs. G. Butler, Mrs. B. Dawson, Mrs. P. Wilson, Mrs.  L.Copping, Mr. B. Murphy, Mr. D. Ward and Mr. J. Marney.
Mrs. Wyatt, Parish Clerk was also in attendance.

5. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING.
Minutes of  meeting held on 6th October were agreed to be a true copy of the meeting  and duly signed by the Chairman.

6. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION.
     P.A.20091332 – 9, Weston Close, Blofield Heath
Extension to Garage.       NO OBJECTION

P.A.20091303 – 29, Yarmouth Road, Blofield
Two and single storey side extension.    NO OBJECTION

P.A.20091347 – 2, St. Andrews Way, Blofield.
Single Storey Rear Extension.     NO OBJECTION.

7. ISSUES & OPTIONS – MINERALS & WASTE
Consultation paper from Norfolk County Council
Council to reply:
“There are currently no sites that would affect Blofield”

8. BDC – Consultation on Late Potential Development Sites.(Reg25 stage)
After discussion it was agreed:-
Brundall LS13.01
Brundall LS13.02  Broadly in favour, but Council has concerns regarding traffic flow  going through built up area of village.
Traffic should also be directed on and off A47 roundabout.

 Gt & Little Plumstead LS25.01, LS25.02 and LS25.03. Council thought that there were  insufficient roadways to take the intended traffic generated by proposed housing.

9. GREATER NORWICH DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP
Copy of the publication document of the proposed Joint Core Strategy for  Broadland,  Norwich and South Norfolk, was received by the Clerk on November 2nd and given to the  Chair for further consultation. Replies required by Monday 14th December 2009.

There being no further business, Chairman thanked everybody for coming, wished them a safe journey home and closed the meeting at 8.15pm.
